Gen Z Years

2001 - 2003 are early gen-z as they had a late 2000s / early 2010s childhood, and had their final few teen years in the 2020s. 2004 - 2006 are core gen-z, they had a pure 2010s childhood and will be. Oct 22, 2022i know for sure there are few 08s fit in core like you, but most people in your year who behave differently for a 2000s early/core born, shifting more towards gen alpha (2009+).

Despite what people think, gen z doesn't actually have a set (agreed upon) end yet. 2012 is the most referenced end year, but that's simply a placeholder according to pew. Gen x isn’t 20 years;

And gen z didn’t go until 2015/2016, because we’re already on gen beta by next year. They are the most gen z gets. Again, its not just "hey im a gen z because i was born between this date" a generation ends when that culture transitions and the outlook on the future changes due to the next growing generation.

1928-1945 (born before the baby boom, came of age after) greatest gen ii: 1910-1927 (main combatants of wwii, and came of age during the great depression/war) greatest gen i: 2010, 2011, and 2012 is still gen z.

All you gotta do to find the actual start and end dates is find already confirmed start and end dates and add 15 years for each generation gen a: 2013 - 2028 gen z: May 5, 2024by pew 2002 are 5 years away from the oldest gen z (1997) and 2007 are also 5 years away from the youngest gen z (2012).

2002 is 3rd oldest 2000s birth year and 2007 is 3rd youngest. 1986 is only 5 years into the millennial range, and 2002 is also only 5 years into the gen z range (both going by pew). If generations are around 15-18 years long, it wouldn’t make any sense for the 5th.
